An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone with over 2 years VAT experience to join one of the leading VAT Teams in the UK.
This role will provide general assistance and support to the VAT Team to include VAT compliance services for a wide range of clients.
You will assist in ensuring that all of their compliance deliverables are completed on time and within budget. It is essential that you are self-motivated, have an attention to detail, can work to work to tight deadlines and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties Include:
o Assist the VAT Team to service their clients' compliance needs
o Preparation of VAT returns, ESLs, Intrastats etc
o Applying for VAT registrations and overseeing the registration process
o Completion of VAT checklists for audit clients
o Ensure client files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section
o Carry out ad hoc requirements as may be reasonably required by more senior members of staff
o Take responsibility for all client matters as directed by members of the VAT Team
o Active adherence to budget and time pressures, bringing matters to the attention of the senior or manager
o Preparation of engagement letters and client acceptance documentation
Someone who has starter/completed the ATT would be ideal, but this is not essential.
Depending on experience the role will pay from £20,000pa to £40,000pa plus benefits.
