A fantastic new role with a leading FTSE 100 giant has recently become available as a VAT Specialist. The company has the size and global reach to offer exceptional international exposure and progression opportunities that are second to none.
You will be assisting the UK Senior Tax Manager to add value to the Group through improved VAT compliance and risk management of the UK business, you will also be key in improving the businesses overall tax position through identifying new opportunities at the early stages of development. You will be required to manage the VAT compliance of the business ensuring that both internal and external requirements are met on time, whilst also ensuring that the business is compliant with all UK tax laws. Furthermore you will be working with Group VAT to ensure that the tax cost suffered by the Group is minimised.
A successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA and/or CTA qualified with relevant experience within a Big 4 practice, HMRC or industry. You must also have a broad technical knowledge of UK VAT legislation, interaction of taxes and accounting principles. It is also crucial to be able to build and manage relationships internally, suppliers, customers, external advisors and tax authorities.We regret that due to the high volume of applications we are only able to contact suitable candidates.
