Award winning Tax Division within an internationally renowned Top 10 firm based in Central London requires a Manager to join its Corporate M&A team. In order to attract a strong candidate, this firm is willing to pay 63k, plus an attractive performance based bonus scheme. This position is ideal for an ambitious candidate who has the drive to build upon the teams existing success whilst continuing to expand on its client portfolio.
Whilst having regular contact with Partners, and tasked with managing the Corporate M&A team, the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Acting as the main point of contact for important clients
- Providing advisory work to a core portfolio of clients
- Fulfilling a consultancy role on ad hoc projects in a specialist field
- Directing tax services and signing off on work in accordance with the firms stringent standards
- Taking an active part in management of the firm through consistent contact with Partners and other managers
The successful candidate should be ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent. The dominant aspect of this role will be business development of new and existing clients, with the view of potentially developing a specialist field of technical expertise. This focus on client contact and Partner support means that a diligent and successful candidate will inevitably be promoted quickly.
