Job Description
As the Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, individual tax fillings and returns within the Corporate Tax Department
Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provision calculations
Assisting with extensions
Assisting with the identification of information reporting requirements
Performing tax research as appropriate under generally minimal supervision and providing other tax technical support as needed
Responding to inquiries from a wide variety of sources (tax authorities, auditors, etc.)
Providing information and/ or referrals for addressing inquiries
Preparing and/ or reviewing detailed monthly analyses related to tax deferrals and accruals
Reviewing of non-income tax returns and fillings, including: Form TD F 90-22.1
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3 plus years of related work experience with corporate income tax experience
Experience from either public accounting or big four
Familiar with Tax Compliance (mainly partnership & corporate tax returns)
Familiar with Thomson Reuters GoSystemRS
Knowledge of financial accounting reporting and procedures
Knowledge of MS Office
Willing to work the hours necessary to complete the returns during Tax Season
