Deloitte's Tax Depreciation group is one of the largest specialist tax depreciation/capital allowances practices of its kind in the UK. The team are able to offer a combination of skills from tax, surveying and accounting advice, meaning that clients can come to this group to maximise their tax depreciation needs in the UK and around the world. Deloitte work with clients using specialist experience to help optimise tax relief on capital expenditure and minimise the potential compliance burden of tax depreciation.
As a member of this team, you will gain exposure to a wide range of industry sectors and work with high profile clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a substantial client portfolio covering all industry areas across multinational organisations, UK domestic firms, as well as privately owned companies.

* Assist with the development of innovative tax depreciation ideas
* Be involved in a range of taxation advisory areas including capital allowances, land remediation, transaction planning, technical advisory work and advice pertaining to the "green agenda"
* Play an integral role in business development and winning new work
* Network internally and externally to enhance cross-selling opportunities
* Play a key part in client meetings and relationship management
* Mentor more junior members of the team and assist them with the development of their technical skills
To be considered you would ideally have:
* Either the accountancy qualification (ACA) or tax (CIOT/ATT) or surveying and tax (RICS/ATT) qualifications or equivalent qualification or experience
* Extensive capital allowances experience, ideally within a professional services environment
* Proven successful track record of delivery within a leadership role in a capital allowances team
* Strong communication and numerical skills
* Experience of developing and maintaining client relationships
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
* The ability to travel as required to meet client and team demands
