Large conglomerate is seeking a qualified tax professional, due to continued expansion of the EMEA function the Head of Tax is seeking to bring on-board a qualified professional who is eager to learn and develop their tax career. You will be working closely with both the Head of Tax and Senior Managers to aid your development and integrate you into an in-house environment as quickly as possible.
The role is a mix of UK compliance, tax accounting and TP alongside high-level advisory work. This will be very international in focus dealing with tax implications of acquisitions, JV's and structures across the EMEA region and the role will be extremely challenging from an international tax perspective. Initially you will take on compliance and reporting responsibilities, tasked with controlling compliance cycles and ensuring timely delivery of tax numbers. Alongside this you will work on CFC's and play a large role in TP studies and any matters which evolve out of these.
You will be recently CA/ CTA qualified (or equivalent) and have a passion to become involved in the energy sector. Ideally you will be working in energy and utilities but someone who can demonstrate the required skills and desire will also be considered.
