Currently we have a challenging position for a
Senior Research Associate / Editor Topicals.
The Topical Knowledge Group is responsible for the publications that focus on certain specialist topics. Currently, the
following topical publications are under the responsibility of the Topicals Knowledge Group: Transfer Pricing Database; Permanent Establishments; Mergers & Acquisitions; Holding Companies; Partnerships; Trusts;
Investment Funds; International Transfer Pricing Journal; Derivatives & Financial Instruments (Journal).
Objective and responsibility of the position
Responsible for timely and accurate managing and editing
of selected publications for which the Topicals Knowledge
Group is responsible, involvement in further development
of the portfolio of the Topicals Knowledge Group
maintaining contacts with the external network, as well as
co-ordinate (parts of) research assignments and expand
the IBFD network.
Description of the responsibilities and activities
Publications
- responsibilities for managing, editing some of the publications of the Topicals Knowledge Group;
- assist with other publications on an ad hoc basis;
- answer questions about the content of
publications;
- assist in promotion activities of M&S department.
Other activities may include
- participate in comparative research on cross
border taxation;
- lecture on basic and more advanced topics of domestic or cross border taxation;
- contribute to government consulting assignments;
- participate in more advanced academic activities;
- Providing information to clients.
Profile
Knowledge and experience
- University degree in law, accountancy or related area (an LLM or other post graduate degree in international tax is an advantage);
- Preferably experience in domestic and
international tax law of one or more jurisdictions;
- Good editorial, communication & writing skills;
- Experience in domestic and international tax law of at least 5 years.
Depending on background and relevant work
experience, we offer a salary between EUR 40.000 and EUR 55.000 gross per annum based on full time employment. Completed by an attractive package of fringe benefits, amongst others:
