This innovative financial services business with a range of insurance products including life is currently looking to appoint for this newly created Senior Life Tax post. Following a period of growth in certain market segments, including life, long term care insurance, individual and group annuities, they are now looking to restructure the tax team and enhance their inhouse capability by adding an individual with life tax experience.В
Reporting to the International Tax Director, you will principally assume overall tax responsibility for the UK Life entity but also support on the strategic tax advice for other business areas.
Key duties;
Prepare UK tax return filing obligations, ensuring that compliance deadlines are met, and preparing responses to Inland Revenue enquiries, coordinating with outside advisors as necessary
Manage annual and quarterly tax provision requirements including US GAAP, UK statutory and FSA return, working closely with Finance Managers and internalВ tax teams
Undertake quarterly reconciliations of all direct tax accounts and support reconciliations of indirect tax accounts for life tax entity
Manage UK corporation tax payments, group relief and double tax relief across theВ Group
Work with capital, actuarial and finance teams to develop tax forecasts
Work with local external advisors on relevant non UK life tax issues and audits
Deal with tax queries and provide support to tax team on an ad hoc basis
Key benefits;
Annual salary of up to cВЈ80,000
ВЈ6000 car allowance
Target bonus of 15%

Key skills required;
Experience with UK corporation taxВ for life insurance companies
Qualified Accountant, Chartered ACA, CIMA or ACCA and / or CTA
