The Newcastle office of this Big 4 firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Associate or Senior Associate. The Private Client team provides tax advisory services and innovative tax solutions to high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, the owners of private companies and trusts. You will take ownership of a varied client portfolio which you will manage on a day to day basis looking after the compliance issues and getting involved with exciting planning work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is some experience of project management. Ideally you will be ATT and/or CTA qualified. He specialises in advising candidates at all levels up to and including Senior Manager and deals with clients across the North of England. Given his background as an ACA having worked in tax he is also well placed to understand fully the needs of both clients and candidates alike. Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
