The role
As a key part of the international tax strategy team you will be performing a wide range of duties to ensure the group operates in the most tax efficient way in its activities overseas and in the UK. More specifically this will entail:
• Proactively participating in the planning, managing and controlling of worldwide tax exposures arising from the group structure, financing, acquisitions, disposals and dividend planning.
• To plan and execute changes to the Group’s legal structure to meet the commercial objectives of senior management.
• To represent the Group in consultations with HMRC and the Treasury on new areas of tax legislation.
• To identify and implement opportunities for tax planning and efficiency throughout the group on a multijurisdictional basis.
The person
You will ideally be ACA trained or hold an equivalent qualification from within a “Big 4” or top 10 accountancy firms. It will be useful to have financial services experience already, however, this is not a prerequisite. Indeed, you will have a strong academic record anda a desire to progress within a competitive environment.
The package
Excellent remuneration (£80 -£90,000) plus good bonus potential and benefits.
