The Company
Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm in the Caribbean to appoint an Internal Audit Seniors to its Bahamas office. You will be fully qualified and have previous Internal Audit experience in a practice firm.
The Role
• Assisting in the identification and evaluation of corporate, process, operational and/or project risks and developing/advising on appropriate management and assurance strategies
• Providing an independent evaluation of, and opinion on, processes, systems and controls and detail any required remedial action where weaknesses are identified
• Specific financial process reviews – detailed testing and evaluation of processes used for the compilation of balance sheets and other financial reporting mechanisms
• Complete Type 1 and Type 2 SAS70 audits Best practice reviews – reviews of systems and/or processes with a focus on using the firm's knowledge and experience to recommend improvements and/or changes in the client's methods
The Candidate
• Experience in Internal Audit from within a practice firm environment
• At least 2 years’ experience in Internal Audit in total
• You must be fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CISA/CIA or equivalent) and already hold the certificate
