For this role you will need the following skills and experiences:
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Flair for negotiating with VAT authorities in order to get the best result for your client
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Strong academic record and good exam progress
- You will be a qualified accountant or be undertaking HMRC exams.
- You must have some exposure to indirect taxes and in particular VAT. This could be gained through working in Customs and Excise, within Practice at a 'Big 4' firm or another reputable firm or from within Industry.
