A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Director with strong leadership to be responsible for all tax issues where business operates.
Key responsibilities will include tax planning & strategy, leading the tax team and promoting a positive working relationship with governments & fiscal authorities. You will handle tax audits, transfer pricing, inter-company financing, cash planning, dividend planning and the sign off of tax reporting.
To meet the challenges of this position you will need to have proven experience as a tax leader in Europe / EU with at least 15 years of corporate tax & international tax experience. Sound understanding of treasury processes are important as well as enough knowledge of VAT to be able to spot the issues. The role ensures that tax and statutory declarations are accurate, timely and SOX compliant, so a good understanding of IFRS is important to be able to review and sign off the work of the team. Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time are important attributes.
