A fantastic opportunity with a leading Financial Services Group has recently become available as an FS Tax Specialist. The role will give you superb exposure into Financial Services and thus potentially open up a very exciting career path.
The role itself will require you to be heavily involved with the tax lawyers working on documentation to ensure that the transactions performed by the Group have minimal tax exposure and thus make the overall tax function more efficient. Your deep understanding of tax accounting and regulatory processes will allow you to explain the potential tax risks and problems with various transactions to non tax advisors.
A successful candidate will ideally have excellent academics, be ACA/ACCA/CTA/CFA qualified, trained within a Big 4 firm and have a very strong interest in Financial Services. Experience of UK & US GAAP and IFRS will also be beneficial as well as having some exposure to business modeling and tax profile modeling.
