Team
The Financial Services (FS) Tax practice provides tax advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.
Their Business Tax Advisory Insurance team are looking for an experienced Tax Manager with extensive Insurance tax experience. They are particularly interested in Life Insurance practice / industry experience.
You should be on an upwards trajectory in your career and be already considered a high performer in your current role.
Your client and people responsibilities
* Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
* Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
* Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
* Be involved in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff
Qualifications and experience
* Experienced tax practitioner - with Insurance tax background being a preference
* FS industry and product knowledge preferred
* Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
* Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
* Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
* Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
* Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
* ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
