Are you an experienced Expatriate/Payroll Tax Consultant looking to join one of Scotland’s largest and most respected accountancy firms? The opportunity to work with some of the worlds biggest Oil & Gas clients?
My client is the largest public practice firm in Aberdeen, employing more staff than the nearest Big4 firm Ernst & Young. The have a long history in supplying quality and effective consulting services to some of the largest Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Retail organisations in Europe and globally.
You will be required to form constructive, long term, professional relationships with clients and using your range of skills and knowledge, apply a progressive approach and innovative thinking to add value to their business.
Main responsibilities include:
• Input, prepare and check monthly/bi-monthly salary paid to UK residents for overseas/ international working
• Prepare data for input into overseas payrolls
• Ensure correct allocation of salary between UK and overseas payrolls
• Assist with the annual year-end returns to both HMRC and overseas tax authorities
• Interface with UK domestic payroll department as required
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and institutions
The Ideal candidate will have:
• Professional accounting qualification or payroll related qualification
• Experience of running a manual payroll system
• Experience of working in a similar role
• Ability to work accurately whilst maintaining compliance with tight deadlines
• Commitment to the firm and team
• Good interpersonal skills with friendly disposition
• Experience of working with Scandinavian, Dutch or Danish clients is preferred
