This Top Tier firm based in South London requires a Corporate Tax Manager to take on a key managerial role within the division. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact in relation to the management of a portfolio of clients, therefore this role will involve tax compliance work and advisory services.
Reporting to the Director/Partner and responsible for junior members of the division, the key aspects of this role are as follows:
- Acting as a key point of contact within the firm for the client
- Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and keeping the client and Partner informed of overruns
- Identifying risk and technical matters, as well as selling business opportunities to the Partner
- Actively participate in the management of the group through Partner/Manager meetings
- Training more junior staff on the job and monitoring exam performance
You will be ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent and have proven experience of dealing directly with clients. You should also have the confidence and ability to develop new clients and sell new services to existing clients. This is a highly attractive role for an individual who wants to have more autonomy than in a Big 4 or other Top Tier firms.
