Skills & attributes required;
First class communications skills
Professional finance and tax qualifications required
Substantial corporate tax experience required; indirect tax and employment tax experience desired
Ability to deal with a complex trading structures
International compliance and advisory experience desired
Ability to prioritise and juggle workload efficiently
Able to drive strategic change effectively and methodically
Key duties include;
Liaise with the business regarding business developments, assess tax impact of, minimise tax risk of
Formulation of Group policy & procedures, monitor appropriateness of
Provision of tax advice on ad hoc projects, incorporating impact on Group structure
Management of and advice with respect to Group transfer pricing
Assistance with ad hoc structuring (domestic and international)
Oversee and manage tax aspects of group acquisitions and disposals (domestic and international) particularly with regards to required due diligence work & impact on Group structure
Oversee improvements to the "Tax Management System"
Delivery of training concerning tax matters to the Group and its business units
