The successful candidate's current role is most likely that of an experienced Senior Manager (or equivalent) within their area of expertise who is looking for an opportunity for advancement and a move to a professional services environment.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to be a leader in our Private Company Services (PCS) Tax practice to work with our private sector clients, providing best advice and practical solutions to entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses.
As Tax professionals in a PCS environment, we help business owners run their companies more effectively, set and achieve their goals, monitor their progress and execute their plans. We help them identify opportunities for growth, cost savings and value creation, enabling them to take real advantage of these opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, you would be responsible for:
Client
- Building and leveraging strong relationships with clients, requiring minimal partner involvement
- Ensuring highest quality delivery of services
- Developing own practice and clientele through business development activities and leveraging on specialized expertise
- Marketing services internally to maximize internal referrals
People
- Developing teams by mentoring and coaching managers and participating in the training and evaluation processes
- Ensuring proper utilization of staff
- Creating an inclusive environment that is conducive to the development and growth of all people
Firm
- Leading engagements
- Ensuring profitability of the client base meets acceptable parameters
- Ensuring billing and collection processes are being followed

Key Technical Competencies
- CA, CGA, or CMA designation

- Strong technical background and broad based tax skills as a result of 7-10 years of prior experience in a professional services firm or in industry, with a minimum of 3 years of tax consulting and/or compliance experience
